Maica Ontiñano is a Visual Artist and PhD in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
She has 22 years of artistic and research career. She intends to break disciplinary barriers and search for new languages and identities based on the theoretical, referential and analytical study of the action body in nature site-specific.
Her line of research is consolidated from her doctoral thesis. One of the greatest achievements at the research level, is the creation of a new methodology of analysis specifically for this type of pieces concerning body in action, nature and site-specific conception.
